Whole Flax Seeds
Flax seeds are known to be source of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, but did you know they’re also a good source of fibre, and contains several minerals including magnesium?
Unlike chia seeds, you have to grind your golden flax seeds into a powder to make them digestible and get the most benefits out of them. Beware, however: they only keep for a maximum of two weeks once they’ve been ground, whereas whole seeds can keep up to 8 months in an airtight container in the fridge.
